Recently, for the first time in my life, I regretted not seeing a movie in theaters and felt disappointed watching it so late on Netflix. The film “SRIKANTH” turned out to be incredibly inspiring. By the end of the movie, I discovered two standout actors apart from the individual on whom this story is centered : Rajkumar Rao and Jyothika.

In SRIKANTH, Rajkumar Rao portrays a visually impaired character, and ‘best’ hardly does justice to his acting skills. While both actors are acclaimed in their respective genres, I wasn’t particularly a fan of Rajkumar Rao aside from ‘Queen’ and Jyothika in ‘Nuvvu Nenu Prema’. This isn’t exactly a movie review; rather, I was deeply inspired by the real-life story and the performances of the roles, motivating me to consider writing an article about this movie.

Especially noteworthy was how convincingly Rajkumar Rao portrayed a visually impaired person, maintaining his role seamlessly throughout every scene, leaving a profound impact.

Srikanth Bolla, the inspiration behind the movie ‘Srikanth’, is a screenplay based on real-life incidents depicting a person’s unwavering vision for life despite the circumstances, background, and challenges faced.

Final thoughts

  1. Let’s advocate for more films and stories like ‘Srikanth’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, and ‘Mahanati’ — they are genuine sources of inspiration.
  2. Ultimately, let’s appreciate what we have today, recognizing that others may long for what we often overlook.
